I write about energy transition, politics, public policy, science and policy, and institutional change, drawing on experience across government, consultancy and academia.
Much of the writing draws on my work as an adviser and interim manager in the public sector, close to politics, policy and implementation. The writing is personal and independent. Some posts are analytical, some more reflective, and some simply start with something that seems worth examining more closely. Every now and then, something entirely unrelated slips in too.
